March Madness

March is traditionally the time of the mad March hare.

So in the spirit of temporary madness, I am choosing today to take a break from this blog.

It’s been quite a journey, within the blog and my life.

I began it as an indie author, following the death of my mother.

And it’s been wonderful to meet so many people and visit their creative sites.

So many folk with so much energy, humour and wisdom.

But I am currently not able to give this community or my blog the attention needed.

I hope all the inspirational quotes have lightened your days and given you a pause, as they did for me.

It was a joy to choose and repeat them.

I hope to use my spiritual path to help others one day in more interactive ways.

Perhaps all these threads will weave into a pattern that makes sense.

So on this first day of March I go into dormant mode, but not a single one of you will be forgotten by me. You have all taught me so much.

Have a beautiful March, and stay warm, if you are in this Northern freezing hemisphere.

Now where were we with the March hare… my very first pet was a hare – and how I loved that hare. All of us who are scatty feel a kinship with hares – but why do they behave in such an extraordinary way? Why do we?! It might take longer to work out some of our behaviours, but the beautiful hares, of course,  are running wild for love!

‘The Lepus europaeus  portrays signs of unpredictable behaviour in its breeding season which begins in March. Hares in our fields are seen to be boxing,  jumping vertically for seemingly no reason and generally displaying abnormal behaviour.’

So this March I hope you all find the child within you, in spite of your life challenges and burdens, and smile with the hare.

‘Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.’

February Words

Food is a spiritual issue they say

Well I love food and I often pray

A Feb thought in a flippant rhyme

To lighten the tension of serious times

But on this the first day of Feb 2018

May you find the food you need

To stay joyful, healthy and sensibly lean!

January Blogging

2018 has arrived.

I would like to say thank you to all who visit here  – you know who you are! And for new visitors,  please look at who I follow because they are all wonderful. Your support and loyalty in the blogging community means much. Especially as my blog is an abbreviated affair – mainly populated with others’ brilliant words. Good luck to all of you in your creative works in this coming year.

It’s a busy time for me, and so I leave you with a favourite quote. Meanwhile, I hope all your wishes come true, in abundance, and that love heals all, for all, in all.

‘Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, “It will be happier.” ‘
